The hatred across the country will die down a little after this year. It will be nice to see them not make ANY bowl, let alone a bowl they don't deserve and can't win like the last 17 bowls they've been invited to.

Very classy of Notre Dame at the end of game with their band playing Navy Anthem, while Notre Dame's players stood by respectfully.

Great game and props to Weis for having both teams stand while the alma maters were played - hard to imagine he leamed that sort of class from his ex-boss.- that scene at the end is what sports and competition are supposed to be about

i cant believe weis would go for it on fourth down. he seems a little to full of him self

i dont want to start anything but why does every1 hate Notre Dame?

I hate Notre Dame because they go to BCS bowls that they do not deserve to go to. They have their own television deal. They are so arrogant that they feel they can play by their own set of rules(TV, bowls, etc.)

The reality is they have not been a power for 15 years, but they always are ranked in the preseason top 25.

One more thing, when they recruited Randy Moss out of high school, they made him their number 1 priority. Lou Holtz was at a lot of his high school games, they were drooling over him. Then, the decide he would be an academic risk and pulled his scholarship offer. Why waste his time recruiting him when you know what kind of student he is? They are just too full of themselves.

any BCS bowl game they made was legit. they also have a somewhat diffcult schedule. they all had to make in the top 12 in the BCS to get a bid jus like any other non BCS conference champion has to do.

and what do u mean play by their own set of rules? they dont pick the bowl their go to jus except the invite from that bowl and they arent the ones continually renewing the TV contract.

A non BCS team has to go undefeated to get in the top 12(usually). Notre Dame goes 9-2 and gets into a BCS bowl.
