Ben is currently second to Brady in TDs and QB Rating. He's also in the top 3 for Avg. Yards per completion. Top 10 for Completion percentage.
I know he padded his stats greatly last night, but damn, what a change from last year. |

It's called confidence, and familiarity. Not to mention a defense that set's him up with awesome opportunity's. Ben is playing wonderfully, and I couldn't be happier to see him rebound like this.

I always believed that Ben's performance last year was solely the result of multiple physical problems. Ben has the potential for real greatness, and each week he's growing and improving. Brady and Manning were nowhere near this accomplished in their fourth seasons.

Ben is having a career year so far, far better than I ever thought as well.
Question - do you think Ben will get more $$ from the Steelers than Romo got ? Based on the numbers he is putting up this year I would say he deserves it for sure.... Hopefull he go's the Tom Brady route and signs for slightly less than what he may be worth which will allow the Steelers to sign players to complement him and keep us winning over the next few years. What do you think ?? |

People said this would be the season where Ben would have to take the next step. He took the next step last night against the Rats.
In a game where a strong Baltimore D brought the heat in sloppy, wet, and cold weather, Ben held strong and made them pay big time. 5 TDs is unprecedented against the Ravens D. Injuries or not. He did what a QB does rarely does against the Baltmore D. He straight up embarrassed them in primetime. Ben is the man and I'm glad he's with the Steelers. Now we need to get some walls in front of him on the O-Line. If we had Ben on those Steelers 90's teams with that O-Line and Sick Defense, we would've had more Super Bowls under Cowher. |

I think three quarterbacks are chosen...don't see any reason why he couldn't be the third.

Funny!
Actually, I was listening to the game on Westwood One Radio last night while driving home, and Ben does a little spot for the Pro Bowl where he's reading a letter that goes something like "Dear NFL fans, please vote for me for the Pro Bowl. I really want to go to Hawaii...seriously, do you know how cold it gets in Pittsburgh in February? Sincerely, Ben Roethlisberger." Cute. And besides, he can play golf with Bettis and his buddies among the palm trees during Pro Bowl week! We really need to get the fan vote out for Ben this year. His season definitely merits a Pro Bowl selection. |

blah blah blah. I would much rather have him in the SB, and then back to prep for next year! |
