The fantastic thing about living overseas is Yahoo gamepass, get to see any game not shown on sky. The shite thing is, I refuse to give Murdoch (aka the dirty digger) any money and thus don't have sky. You gotta think that Sky's gonna take that game, which means I'll have to head to a friends house to watch it, and that's not always possible... As for the game, realistically, I don't think the Steelers will win. It'll be a fantastic game, but the Pats will prepare like hell for the Steelers. If someone's going to stop them from being perfect, its going to be someone they don't expect, a team they think they'll walk over which'll suprise em. I think steelers are in that annoying category, good enough to worry them enough to gameplan their A game, but not good enough to beat it. I really really hope I'm wrong, but things are looking pretty damn good for the Pats right now. Still I'll take anyone over them Boycows, even the Pats if it comes to that in the SB!

December 9th has been circled on my calendar since the beginning of the season. All the media has been saying that the only team that has a chance to beat New England is the Steelers. I know we lost to Arizona and Denver, who both have a losing record, but look at who the Patriots beat. The only good teams that they beat are the Cowboys and the Colts.
Ben and the Steelers are finally getting the credit they deserve, but when the Steelers win on December 9th, they will be recieving all the credit. The only thing is that I wish this game was home, so I could go to it.

Ok, I'll be the 1st to commit blasphemy by saying it. I'm not so concerned about beating the patsys in Dec. I hate them, but I'll concede that they're a very good team. We're very unlikely to beat them twice in 1 season, so if we're to beat them only once this year, I'll take the loss in Dec for a win against them in January. Beating them in the AFCCG will be much sweeter than beating them in a regular seasn game.

The Pats, their fans, and most fans see the Steelers as a non-threat to the Pats and Colts. Maybe. Maybe not.
So this team lost to Arizona and Denver by a combined 10 POINTS, so I guess that diminishes the other 6 wins. There's 16 games in a season and still a long way to go. I'll hold off on all predictions. The Steelers just have to play, take care of busness, and get to the playoffs: Where there are no guarantees. |
