Hi there,
Spending Sat nite in the Burgh before the game and probably looking at going to dinner with the wife Sat nite before tailgating Sunday and game. ![]() Am looking at going to Mt Washington (Grandview Ave) I think seems to be where all the restaurants are with a view of the city, or perhaps South side. Can anyone here recommned one of the restaurants up top, or in "South side". Just looking for a good meal, and a few drinks ![]() and hopefully a good atmosphere as well. Will be taking a cab from a downtown hotel if that makes any difference. All suggestions/recomendations are appreciated.........Thanks in advance ! Cheers |

Mt. Washington restaurants are very pricey, but have pretty good food. Here is a listing of Mt. Washington restaurants. Monterey Bay is known for its excellent seafood and the cuisine at both the Lemont and Georgetown Inn is exquisite! If you have the time, take a ride on the incline - it rocks!
http://incline.pghfree.net/restaurants.htm Here is a listing of restaurants in the South Side, as well as Station Square. There are a lot to choose from, but my faves are the 17th Street Cafe, Paparazzi's and Mallorca (awesome Spanish food!). http://pittsburgh.about.com/od/resta...ion_Square.htm Bon appetit!

Thats awesone HometownGirl, Thanks for the recomendations as I love Spanish food and The South Side looks like a very cool spot in genaral.
Went to "strip district" last time 2002 and are little over the party-college type crowd as we are mid thirties. Still like to party and have a good time though. ![]() If we due take the incline, can you walk to many the restaurants on Mt Washington ? Any other recomendations from fellow Steeler fans ! Thanks again !

I think we will be going to Rolands on the Strip on Saturday night. I love their Spicey Seafood dish and it is relatively inexpensive. The college crowd isnt too bad there until later at night. We went there a couple times last year on the Saturday before the game with the kids and it was fine.

We went to a steak house just to the south of the duquesne incline... IT was great. We could see over the entire city. Great steak and ribs there... A little pricy... we paid $75 for a meal that probably should have cost us $60.... but your paying for the view as well.
