Steelers vs Jets Poem 11/18/07
Last week we traveled up to the Meadowlands
We saw lots of Terrible Towel wavers in the stands To play the New York Jets was why we came They wanted revenge for a previous playoff game This year's team came in at 1 and 8 By the end our team made them look pretty great We let them open up the game with a score We hoped they wouldn't get any more Steelers scored a touchdown but then the rest were field goals And Willie Parker just couldn't find any holes Thomas Jones took something we've had since 2005 Our 100 yard rush streak is no longer alive The Steelers tried to come back but it wasn't enough And writing about losses is really tough So now we must move on to the game with the Fins Don't take it for granted that they don't have any wins You can be sure Joey Porter has circled this date And this time its our players he'll try to intimidate We do great on Mondays at home according to our stats Miami - save your winning hopes for your next game with the Pats!
