Default At first I was upset that the Pats won...

But it was only a minute or two until that changed to pleasure that the Ravens lost, and not just that they lost but that they 1) got jobbed, 2) lost their cool and self destructed at the end, 3) lost because their coach didn't have confidence in them AND cost them a valuable time out that they needed at the end, causing more internal team strife, 4) threw a stupid interception when what they really needed was clock, clock, and more clock. It wasn't just that they lost, it was all the ways they conspired to engineer their own defeat.

The Patriots... the Patriots undefeated season is small potatoes next to the overwhelming need for the Ravens to be continuously humiliated. The Ravens need to be soundly beaten in some weeks, and in other weeks they need to be so close to victory and glory that it hurts so much worse to not get it, like yesterday. I feel perfectly justified in recognizing that the perfect tool for that job was the Patriots and glory boy.

Good points all. A loss to the Rats would have tainted our victory over the Patriots as well.

I didn't watch the game at all, couldn't. But I was told by the doc and nurse that the refs were giving it to the Pats, is that true?

This may be one of the final nails in Billick's coffin as Ravens coach, which is a good thing.

The owner has to know Kyle Boller is not the long term answer at QB - with an aging D he may decide it is time for a tear down.

I watched some of the first half. I'll have to check out Sportscenter for the highlights.

Not really - Ravens were ready to take control up 7 after a long punt return when Boller threw an interception with around 10 minutes to go. Then they could not close out a first down with 4 minutes to go after second + short.

The holding call on 4th down with a minute left was close but since there was blatant holding on another WR I have seen worse calls - we are not talking a Pitt-West Virginia quality hosing by the refs here.

Ravens coaches gagged in the 4th quarter.

Bottom line is you need to score in the 30s to beat the Pats. Ravens came up 1 TD short.

The ratbirds actually had this game won but they went for glory instead of just a W. Boller had no reason to throw that deep pass, considering that the patria-cheats were given up the underneath all night.

They needed a few first downs but wanted to embarrass the pansies and instead they got embarrassed, especially with that melt down last night!! (way to go Bart)

You can't blame the Pats for winning even though they should have lost. Are you guys feeling confident? I know the Steelers can win this one if they don't give Brady to many chances like the Ravens.
