Should I Tempt the Football Gods
Most of you know that I have a superstitious streak a mile long....Every game brings the same routine. Play (and beat) the opposing team on Madden....have the wife buy the fixings for sub sandwiches ....grab the terrible towels...and put on my Steelers jersey. BUT...I purchased a new Jack Lambert throwback jersey and have worn it two times...During the Arizona game and the Bronco game. My old standby Jerome Bettis jersey on the other hand is now 5-0.... So in true democratic fashion, I leave it to the Steelers Nation. Do I flaunt disdain at superstition and wear the Lambert jesey or do I not tempt fate and stick with Bettis?
I will wear whatever Jersey the Forum decides. |

The man created the Terrible Towel. I normally switch every year, but I'm sticking with this. The day I ask others for advice on which number I wear is the day I lose my man card. P.S. I only drink Rolling Rock from my '79 Burger Chef Steelers glass or else the Stillers lose. O.K. never mind, I'll shut up now. Anyone else have any unique superstions? Which way does your "towel" face?, etc. |
