- ESPN's John Clayton reports Pittsburgh Steelers WR Hines Ward (hamstring), who practiced Thursday, Oct. 20, will be able to return to the field during Week 7.
- Pittsburgh Steelers DE Aaron Smith (back) missed practice Thursday, Oct. 20 but has been upgraded from questionable to probable for Week 7. - Pittsburgh Steelers OG Alan Faneca (toe) missed practice Thursday, Oct. 20 but has been upgraded from questionable to probable for Week 7. - Pittsburgh Steelers CB Deshea Townsend (hamstring) was upgraded from doubtful to probable for Week 7. Townsend, who has been nursing a hamstring injury, practiced with the team Thursday, Oct. 20.

Townsend said when asked if he would be able to start against the Bengals. "Most definitely I'm going to play. I'll be out there, but we got some other guys who are up to the task."

I think Deshea is only questionable. 3 Corners injured, let us hope one of them, or maybe even two of them can go. Otherwise it is Mcfadden and Chidi. And I am not sure I like the sound of that........

The defensive player who might be the biggest game-time decision is defensive end Aaron Smith (back spasms), who practiced very little again yesterday and was downgraded to questionable just a day after he was upgraded to probable.
Smith would be replaced by backup defensive end Brett Keisel.

If Aaron's out, Kiesel will do fine. He normally comes in for Aaron and Kimo sometimes during games anyway, and it's not like they break big runs on those times.
So, whats the final list for people who are out, starting, or game time?
