Amen!

That being said, however, with the way things have been bouncing in the Cheatsies' favor in the 2 minute drill over the last few weeks, though, I'd really like the Steelers to have at least a 10 point lead on them at the 2 minute warning.

Pats schedule is 'gravy''? Look at the Steelers' schedule. It's BEEN gravy all year. 32nd toughest in the league.

The offenses 'job' is to score points. There may be secondary tasks, like running the clock off while driving to score, but the offense has not done it's job if it is punting.

Sure there are exceptions, but they mainly relate to their own team, i.e., ball at own 1 in bad weather, then the goal may be just to get enough yards to punt.

But no team should have a goal of going out on 1st down with the intent of kneeling 3 times and punting.

Holy shit - are you kidding me? Other than the Cowboys and the Colts, the Pats have played (and will play out the season) against grunge teams (3 in their own division twice) with a combined record of 49-71.

Their is no safe "cushion" against the Pats. If the Steelers are up 21 with 3 minutes to go, I'd still throw on first down from my own 10. The Pats are the only team in the league I would say that about.

I'd rather beat 'em TWICE by a single-point, than rub their faces in it now, only to infuriate them for a possible playoff match-up

Obviously crew1954 is a patsies troll, but I have to say if you would have seen the Bengals game last week, you would have seen us give the ball to a very explosive offense on a short field 3 times, and they came away with 3 pts . . . so maybe your crappy team feels it need to run up the score, but the Steelers actually have a good defense and are able to stop teams. That being said, I hope we beat them by as much as possible to drive the point home.

Are you serious? How in the world could the Stillers run up a score? It's not like the offense is capable. Only way they could run up the score is if the Patriots somehow continue to fumble inside their own 30 and get picked off continiously for scores which are so far from being reality it isn't worth discussing.

They simply are a run first control the clock team which really hasn't changed from what Cowher was doing. Toss in a few deep balls and you have the same offense from the previous coaching staff.

WHAT, TROLL??? You have got to be kidding me... I seem to remember the Steelers having a very decent differential in the area of points earlier on this season... Also, control the clock seems to be working in 9 of our last 12 games... Do what you have to in order to win and keep the control of the game going.

Don't worry, when the Men in Black (and Gold) take control of the clock and the game this weekend, you will see that this is a GREAT game plan...(as long as we maintain control of the clock!)

Oh, boy, I went and did it, didn't I? I let a TROLL get to me and get a rise out of me...

Can't wait until this game gets going...
