I saw him in blocking on a few pass plays. Maybe Tomlin wanted to give Ben some more time and thought that Heath would help buy it.

...we could have used used Heath alot...and when we do we usually win.. like that stupid run to Hines on 4th down......I just know Heath was wide open after he slammed Vrabel.... WTF !

That 'stupid' run with Hines was actually not a bad call. There were a number of times he could have just turned in and slammed into the end-zone but was looking for a bigger hole.

Heath had 4 catches for 28 yards with a 7 yard average... Not bad for him actually... I think he averages about 2.5 catches a game... Only thing missing was something in the TD category. They had to bring him in to protect because yes, on a few pass plays Colon was getting killed by Vrabel - it couldn't be helped, was what any coach would have done.

With out a doubt that was a good call. Yeah we needed to put points on the board, but we needed them in bigger quantities then FGs.
