Another franchise that needs a long term solution and not a short term PR move - assuming Parcells does not renege on another agreement, points to the Dolphins in their tight race with the Falcons & Raiders for most dysfunctional organization in the NFL - I am sure Cameron is thrilled.

It'll be good for the Phins if Parcels can keep his hand off the coaching. He's great at evaluating talent.

Very true. He has left every team he he's been apart of with a better record than when he arrived; in most cases by large margin.

It should excite you. Despite most people around here not seeming to like him, I have always liked the way he goes about his buisness. The best thing for you is probably that he is staying away from the players (Coaching wise). He can really put a great team together, it was always the on-field part of his game that wasn't up to par IMO.

IMO George Young had a little to do with putting those Giants teams together, which is the only place Parcells won it all.

I actually thought Tuna was a better coach than personnel guy.

You could be right, it's hard to tell because he has had success at pretty much every level. Not overwhelming in some circumstances, but I don't think there can be much arguing that the guy doesn't know what he is doing.

I agree he has been good, but he is 66 - at some point it is time to stay at the track
