Steelers Release 6 Players
The Pittsburgh Steelers released 6 players on Friday, bringing the team closer to its roster limit.
Those released were third-year defensive lineman Anthony Herron, first-year offensive tackle Morgan Pears, and rookie free agents fullback Darryl Kennedy, linebacker Nick McNeil, offensive guard Josh Parrish, and safety Janssen Patton. The cuts leave the Steelers with 78 players on the roster, which must be cut to 71 by Tuesday. I can honestly say that I haven't heard of any of them players. Maybe that's why they've been released. ;) |
