our offense is missing ben, willie, marvel, and hines. im not expecting offensive miracles today. i would like to see some semblance of efficiency though.

I keep sorting for parallels and I now have hit on the 1983 season

Steelers started 9-2 and staggered to the finish line (Cliff Stoudt had the sack record until this year) - that team won the division and got waxed by the Raiders in the first round of the playoffs

Hard to see this D recovering next weekend

I said the same thing to a friend earlier today about the 1983 season.

I agree with you. This team is reeling.

As hot as the 2005 team was at the end of the season, this team is equally as cold. They are about as frozen as unthawed meat.

Thankfully I'm not watching this game. From the highlights (lowlights) I've seen during the Raiders/Chargers game, two words come to mind: no pride. The Steelers owed the Ravens another ass kicking today, Ben or no Ben, and they are letting the Ravens' scrubs smack them. What a shameful way to enter the playoffs. One and done is looking like a definite possibility next weekend.

Honestly.. our LB's ARE just looking old. I really want to see Harrison, Woodley, and Timmons in at the same time.
