Default Eagles could be interested in Chad Johnson

Quote:
McNabb also just might have another playmaker or two at his disposal. It's conceivable that the Eagles will try to orchestrate a trade for Cincinnati wide receiver Chad Johnson, who broke his own Bengals record with 1,440 receiving yards this season. Johnson turned 30 years old Wednesday and is coming off his sixth consecutive 1,000-yard season, although it is widely believed that his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, is the one spreading the word that Johnson is tradeable.

Even so, the Bengals are in desperate need of defensive help, and the Eagles have players they could package for Johnson.

d mac and beau jangles would be an excellent tandem.

as well as the eagles draft, manage the cap, and sign their free agents, this almost seems like a move they cant afford not to make.

chad isnt helping the bungles and tj is inches away from a hold out. youd almost think the bengals couldnt afford to not trade him. with that being said, i think they keep him with the thought that if hes twice as good as deion branch he should command twice as much return in a trade.

They didn't learn from TO? I think it would be a good move but something in the back of my head says mistake. You can get receivers with about the same talent level of Johnson for a lot less $. If I was the Eagles I would go after Fittzgerald before I made a move for Chad.

The difference between McNabb and Palmer is that Carson's a ***** and lets Chad yell at him and treat him like a bitch. McNabb would knock the gold teef right out of CJ's head when he started in on his baby act.

I think the Eagles will consider anyone who can reliably catch the football and stretch the field.

They also need a tight end in the worst way.

If they can get a trade i think it will benefit the Bengals alot more. They already have 2 great WRs with TJ and Chris Henery (who is a more than capable #2). I feel if the eagles offer some good D players and some draft picks I think the bengals would pounce on that trade. Chad aint getting any younger

Chad Johnson-WR-Bengals Jan. 11 - 4:58 pm et

Chad Johnson said on ESPN's Mike and Mike show Friday that he feels he was mistreated by the Bengals' organization last season.
"I was labeled selfish and a cancer, and it hurt," he said. "Fingers were pointed at me this year. If the team and the organization wants to further itself, I think you need to get rid of the problem. It hurt me. To do me that way and not to have my back. Things were said, and nobody came to my defense." That's pretty close to a trade demand. The situation between Johnson and the Bengals is set up to get ugly this offseason.

sounds like chad is ready to move on. do i blame him? nope.

Insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting a different result - after T.O I cannot imagine Reid taking on another diva who is not as talented and at least as crazy
