Default W might have made a deal with OPEC.

W and OPEC

It's getting harder and harder to figure W out these days. He's the ultimate Lame Duck President. His term is up and his VP never even thought about running and there's nobody in the GOP field who even comes close to having ties to him, yet he's in the Middle East trying to get oil prices down and he's been a consistent voice for higher fuel mileage standards on vehicles.

Could it be that W really does represent the last of the old school conservatives?

One word: Legacy

Iraq may not turn out as awful in the end as some thought, and if he can knock down oil prices and secure the peace in the middle east along with finding some kind of resolution to N. Korea and Iran, his legacy doesn't look all that bad.
