Default pittsburgh lingo...

i have heard it everywhere on the net, tv, and from peopl i know that used to live in pittsburgh but i dont KNOW any words. could you guys hook me up with some lingo with the definition....thanks

I'm not from pittsburgh but I know a little

Dahntan = Downtown
Slippy = Slippery
S'liberty = South Liberty (a street)
Yinz = you guys (I guess...thats how I use it at least)

My grandpa has a whole book on it lol... It is kind of hard to explain really, it just kinda comes out. I would suggest trying to find some websites that have meanings and such - there have got to be some out there.
