Default Ravens hire John Harbaugh as their new Head Coach.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=090...o&confirm=true

Eagles secondary coach, Former Special Teams coach. Hmmm...

Well, time to prepare myself to start disliking this guy. But it's gonna take some real effort to reach the Brian Ballick level of hate. But I'm sure we'll find out more about this guy later on.

Tomlin vs. Harbaugh in 2008.

I was unaware the big task ahead for the Ravens was rebuilding the secondary - as a Steelers fan I think it appears to be a great hire

This is a very strange hire in my opinion.

We'll see how well he assembles a staff.
My assumption is the usual career track is to be a position coach - coordinator - HC - Harbaugh jumped a step there

Tomlin also started out as a DB coach but Tomlin also was a coordinator with Minnesota for1 year

That is what seems odd about the hire to me

And at 45 it is not as if he is a young gun like Tomlin or Mangini
