Scout: Lee may be better than Poz and Connor
By Cory Giger, cgiger@altoonamirror.com

Sean Lee played alongside two of the top linebackers in Penn State history, and he could turn out to be the best of the bunch.

"He may even be better than [Dan] Connor and [Paul] Posluszny when it's all said and done," NFL scout Chris Steuber said.

Lee will have the spotlight all to himself next season and could develop into a first-round pick with a strong year.

"Sean Lee's going to be another great linebacker for them," Steuber said. "I think Sean is a great athlete. He's another sure tackler. The kid's all over the field. I love his presence. He covers very well."

Steuber noted Lee will need to improve his footwork for the next level and predicts he could be a late first- or early second-round draft pick. Lee's skills on the field will be enhanced by the intangibles he shares with Posluszny and Connor.

"They are high-quality guys, they're high-character guys and they play the game the right way," Steuber said.

I have no doubts about Lee doing well. If he takes what he learned from Connor and Pos, he will go down as Penn States best linebacker ever.

How are you going to be mad about being rated third in the Big Ten?

3rd is good for now. But hey, these can/will change between now, and when Spring Practices are over.

That's for sure Yoder. It's all speculation at this point. We'll know how good the team is coming out of the Non-Conference Schedule and the early stage of the conference schedule.
