Default What's up Steeler Nation
Greetings from snowy Vermont.

I am (like so many here) a dedicated member of the Steeler Nations fan base. Have been since I was 6 years old. My initial introduction was on Jan. 21, 1979 when we played the Cowboys in superbowl XIII. I have to admit that I don't remember much of the game. But, what I do remember is that everybody; my family, friends and the media wanted the "good guys", the team in white, "Americas team" to beat the team in black. As a kid it seemed unlikely that the Steelers would win. So, I decided that I would root for the hard-nosed team from steel town U.S.A.. And from that moment on I have bled black and gold. Through the 80's and the Kordell years and on. . .

I am proud to call the Steelers "My team". It's that hard-nosed, physical style of play and the ownerships committment to integrity that have kept me a Steeler fan while everyone else around here has gone from being Cowboy fans, to Giant fans, to Bills fans to Patriot fans (Yuck! - well I do live in the Northeast).

Anyhow, heres to hoping for a great draft this April!
