Default TV has become flat out bad.

Celebrity Circus

Reality TV has killed almost all my interest in television these days. Outside of sports, I watch very little network TV anymore because it's become so terrible. Who would have thought we'd see the day when cable was more creative than network TV.

Agreed - writer's strike? Hadn't noticed.

you know, I can't think of any reality show that has ever caught my interest

This show will draw our favorite celebrities out of their comfort zone and into a stunning and magical circus environment that allows them to showcase their unseen skills,
that line alone makes me not want to watch it

they seriously must be running out of ideas if they're gonna air a show like this

Writer's strike effects I guess

I watch Survivorman, and, to a lesser extent, Masn vs Wild (I think it's called that). I think that qualifies as reality tv. The rest of it is pretty much garbage.

I kind of dig the Sarah Connor Chronicles. But any show I start getting into usually gets cancelled after about 6 episodes.

Tyler Perry's House of Pain on TBS is HILARIOUS and I love my Law and Order reruns.

But honestly, network TV is dying. Right now, MLB has more games on cable than they do on network and I wouldn't be shocked to see more NFL games on cable in the very near future.

Les, Survivorman, is awesome! The trip to Alska was entertaining. Especially when he almost burned down his shelter! He demonstrated his habitual inability to catch fish as well. Something also shown on an island stop he made.

Man vs Wild got busted as a fraud, on you tube. They showed him on an out-take with someone handing him a bottle of H2o, then panned left showing a highway just a couple hundred yards away from "the wilderness". Bear did climb Everest, though! Gotta give cred for that.

The rest of Reality TV is pretty bad. Question, who the hell would claim to be attracted to Flava Flave??? (Comedy Central Roasted his ass good!)

Man vs Wild was also busted for staying at 3 star hotels while stating he was dealing with the conditions at night. Lost interest after hearing about that.

As for the rest of reality TV, I don't like it, never did. Talk about dumbing down the country. Only in America can a skinny, illiterate crackhead have a reality tv show. I'll stick with FSN Pittsburgh, history channel, A&E, science channel, fox news, discovery channel, biography channel, national geographic and the military channel.

I will say that CBS puts out some pretty good shows.

NCIS and Ghost Whisperer (Jennifer Love Hewitt is hot) are my favorites.
