With the depth at WR we have i doubt goign aWR 1-3 rounds.

Maroney = Ron Dayne

I say this because both had great lines in college and Maroney is a bust in my eyes.Just my view on him.

Yes we wont take a Center in the 1st round thats for sure. Centers will be there in the 2nd and the guy i have in degory will be there.(2-3rounds)

Going after a S such as Bing is a long shot, hes a great talent but depth at S is to storng for us to even think S in the first 5 rounds.(2nd day)

Kendalls been fine and chirs behind him are 2 big reaosn we wotn go G.(2nd day)

We dont need any Dline help but we might find a replement for Von but i think cowher likes our back ups to much to rush in the 1st for a DE.(2-5 rounds)

CB is one spot thats up in the air for me. We might want to get someone in there williams who will be 36 next year.(2-3 rounds)

Power running is just our game and a RB in the 1st is more likly then most. Not saying Willie wont be our number 1 we just need a force when Bettis retires after this year. And Lendal is the best choice with his great foot work and power running.

Yeah I'm still rooting for Martin Nance. Lendale White would be a nice addition as well.

This is my favorite site for mock drafts........ http://www.footballsfuture.com/2006/mock.html
It has links to many different mock drafts and is usually updated frequently.....Once the season is over they are usually updated weekly...........

Pittsburgh Steelers Team Needs
By: Jason Chernofsky

Wide Receiver
I think the Burress loss was one of the most overlooked offseason moves. They are clearly lacking a big target. Heath Miller at TE has done a great job in the endzone so far, but they also could use an improvement at WR, regardless of size. Ward is his same great self, and despite turning 30 this offseason, he will be fine as a starting WR for at least a few more years. Randle-El has been a bit disappointing as a 2nd WR, and he is a free agent this offseason. He makes a great slot receiver, but I don't know about him starting. Depth here is thin as well, and Quincy Morgan/Cedrick Wilson aren't going to show the potential we once thought that they had, so a guy like Miami of Ohio's Martin Nance would be a great pick in round 1, or maybe 2 if he fell. Other options include Mike Hass from Oregon State, Hank Baskett of New Mexico, and Demetrius Williams of Oregon, all round 2-4 options.

Runningback
I love Jerome Bettis, but the fact is, he's starting to show that he's 33. Duce Staley has looked pretty good when he's played, but that's been rare over his two years as a Steeler, and as for Willie Parker, his grand start has worn off a bit, and despite not playing poorly, I don't know if he can be a feature back. He could be a good option for a two-RB system, which seems to be what the Steelers are most comfortable using. As he is a smaller RB, a bigger back, such as USC's LenDale White in round 1, or Michael Bush of Louisville, DonTrell Moore of New Mexico, or Mike Bell of Arizona would all be solid options in round 2 or later.

Bobby Carpenter's injury did not look good I am not sure he will make the first round because of that.

I am pulling for Lendale that would be a fine addition, but I do not see him slipping that far.

I have a feeling he won't either Steel. I kinda see a team right before us taking Lendale. It might be a situation where we have to trade up.

that's even if lendale white comes out this year, if he is smart he will stay one more season and raise his draft status, cause without bush takin his carries he's gonna have a great season........and we won't be that high in the draft if we don't make the playoffs so if he does come out we might have a good shot cause not that many teams really need a running back

I say Lendale first round, a Center second round, and a WR third round. Mainly because if we get a WR first round, if they do good, they won't want to stay with us. We're a primarily running team, and Plaxico knew where it was at. He wasnt gonna get the kind of numbers and deals that he wanted here, so he moved on. We took Ward in the 3rd round, and look at how good he's doing. I say Clinton Solomon out of Iowa, but I have no idea what his draft rating is. I dont pay much attention to College football. I just know he's 6'3", a Deep Threat, and looks good in Black and Gold :P

Then after that ILB, DE, OT, FS... not in that order.
