Actually it is not your bad. You probably read my first post in the 30 seconds before I edited it. I said it as an absolute & realized that it was wrong & edited it.

If anyone lives in Ohio, I am willing to give the CCW course for free, you cover the costs of the books. I think all should be able to carry. If you live outside of Ohio and they will recognize the NRA Personal Protection Course for a CCW where you live the same applies if you come here, otherwise pay my travel expenses and for the books and the course is still free.

And yes I carry most of the time.

IF there is a gun in your house, teach your wife how to use it, or your husband as case may be.

I am a woman and I have carried a 38 or 9mm since I was 21. I feel blessed that I am able to protect my family and myself carrying my gun 24/7. Great post!

My husband wants to get one for me. Does anyone know the WA rules on owning a gun? Or carrying it?

If you are going to get a gun for protection... you might as well get a CWP (concealed weapons permit) as well. Washington is pretty good with those. I think it takes a background check, a gun class, and one or two other things. However, make sure the rules are not changed when it comes to your county or city.

However, you have to ask yourself a couple other questions.

1. Can I seriously pull a gun and use to kill someone? If you think you would hesitate... dont get one. The perp. will reach up, take it away from you and use it on you.

2. Are you wiling to carry it in a FAG bag? (Fast Action Gun bag) You do NOT want to carry it in your purse, as by the time you reach in to get it, the perp again will take it away from you and use it. FAGbags sit around your waste like fanny packs.
