Default Hello from the UK....

Hey,

I'm Chris and I just thought I'd say hey to everyone here and let you know a little about myself. I live in the UK and I'm currently at University. I've only been following the NFL for one year so I'm still very new to it and get a little confused at times! To be honest I don't have any links, such as family, to America, so my decision to follow the Steelers was completly random, but I'm happy to call myself a Steelers fan! I followed them all through last season and I'm now enticed by the NFL and the Steelers. Anyway I'm looking forward to learning more about the NFL and many more years of following the Steelers, and hopefully some day I may have the chance to come over there and watch them live!

Nah I don't, though I want to yet I've never had the chance to do it before. I was planning on attending the training camps at university (Newcastle) yet the whole 'Freshers Week' experience meant at the time football was the last thing on my mind! I'm quite gutted now though, and i'll have to wait for next years trails. How bout you? I see you play in the BAFL, am I right? How did you get into playing in the UK?

I just went for trials at Merseyside, this is my fourth season this year. Its well worth getting into if you:

1)have the time

2)the spare sterling

3)can take a a good dig

4)can go to work/ uni the next day in pain.

Shefield Sabres have a good team, iam only pointing that out to you as you have Sheffield on you location.

Nice one seems like I should give it a go sometime. Probs start with the team here in Newcastle. You see I'm at uni at Newcastle, yet Sheffield is where home is in the holidays! Had you had any previous experience before you went to trails or did they acknowledge that you were a complete rookie?
