He ran out of time. This is the final season of his 4 year contract.

Still to much money for a #4WR. It is pathetic that he is still on the roster. We have bigger holes that need to be filled and it will also free up some salary cap space. Heck, trade him for 7th RD pick.

Our WR core I feel is fine for another year.

We haven't seen the best of Santonio yet, not even close, he's going to be big time.
Next year we might want to start addressing a compliment given what will be Ward's cap # and age.
I think another year of Arians and Ben working together will be good. Stability is key and after initially cringing, I'm glad BA is back.

I'd much rather see Hackett than Johnson

Starks situation should soon get resolved at least we hope.
seriously people... lets take off the "we hate nate" sunglasses.

bryant johnson through 5 years (39 games started)-

210/2675/9td

nate through 3 years (6 games started)-

64/1074/9td

keep in mind johnson was a 1st rounder while nate spent his 1st season on the practice squad.

with our backs against the salary cap wall, why in the HELL would the steelers pay 5X the salary for 1/2 the production?????

our 4th wr on a running team is better than arizonas #3 on a passing team. that oughta tell you something.

i know everyone is a monday morning GM but people might as well try to convince me were better off with cedric benson over willie parker.

and we need the money to sign the draft picks.. i would rather take chance on a wr in the later rds or pick one up as a undrafted rookie than sign a someone to money thats won't be spent good
