Question Time to see more of Quincy ?

He outplayed Wilson and El yesterday and has been our best kick off returner so far this year. The guy is still fast, tall and big, and can make some plays. With cedric hurt, I say its time to move him up to number 3 and see what he can do w/ more playing time.

Yes, No, Mabey So..thoughts ?

I say move him to #3 so that he'll be on the field more than he is now, then let him and El play to see where they should fit in on the depth chart.

All I know is that from what we've seen, Quincy is a playmaker, and that is what we need right now. I think he should be getting more kick returns than Colclough, whose really been playing under par so far this season, other than that big play he had first game, I think it was a punt return?

In Wilson's defense, he apparently is playing with a broken wrist, which I guess is not particularly helpful when playing football in general or catching passes in particular

Need someone to stretch the field - we seem to have gone away from throwing deep - maybe Morgan is the guy

Overall, this offense seems to be off in terms of reaching its potential - running backs & Ben are better than last year (Bettis & Parker mixing it up provides some speed that was not available when we went to all Jerome starting with Philly game last year), but o-line is not the dominant force it was last year and the arrival of Miller has not outweighed losing the deep threat of Burress (who received a valentine in Sports Illustrated last week in a big article calling Plax the best free agent pick-up). D also seems to be down overall (notably at LB).

However, hope springs eternal; playoffs are 2 months off.

Morgan is definitely a breathe of fresh air on special teams, but has he REALLY been that impressive on offense? I can only recount two big catches and one big drop. I think he should be above Wilson for the simple fact that, unlike Wilson, his wrist isn't broken.

i would put him, no point in leaving in a broken wilson when you got a healthy guy that is capable of doing the same stuff wilson does.

Thats the main deal.. wilson is hampered by injury, and Quincy is healthy and ready to go. He's the hot hand in the return game, and HUGE target to go along w/ Heath for the jump balls. You cant have too many playmakers..and it'll give cedric time to get better before the playoffs.

He has got to catch/hold on to the ball. That was the biggest knock against him in Cleveland. He has good size and good speed, but he just drops too many damned passes.

With Wilson having a broken wrist I think you have to put Morgan in there more. So far I have liked what I have seen from him.
