I know this has nothing to do with this really but thi sis exactly why I wanted Randy Moss to come to Pitt. He would have sealed the deal on us winning this year had we traded for him. Raiders gave up nothing for him and I know the Rooneys run things a certain way but man, having Randy on this team with Hines on the other side would have changed out offense dramatically.....

Randy Moss??? I agree that Moss is a talent but if the Steelers wanted a high maintenance tall WR they could have resigned Plax, who would have cost less and is having a better season than Moss. The Steelers enjoy their lunch pail image and will not pay the $$$ for a high profile WR on a team that regards a perfect game as one where you run the ball 20 consecutive plays in the second half. In addition, since the Rams in 1999 has a Super Bowl winning team had a deep threat WR as a key component of the team?

Yes and NO. Quincy has shown some positive plays but the drop balls have always been a problem with him. Remember the Pats game right before half time.
Ben hit right in stride on the "X"
1x1
Right between his 1`s he would have been wel into field goal range or maybe took it the distance.
His returns are great though, Coc always stops. Morgan just picks a hole and hits it full steam ahead. This makes him the better returner right now. But yes we do need him or someone else to step up in the recieving corp. Now that we have Miller as a weapon the wideouts ought to be liccking thier chops at the thought of him being coverd by a db in some instances. Miller being accounted for now, will make our whole offense better.

I could care less what he did in cleveland ( Look how well the browns old d-line is doing in Denver) Qunicy has had one drop so far and has come up with some big time plays in crunch time. I say work him in as much as possible.

Default Cedrick Wilson Sounds Off

Wilson goes off in the Trib-Review today, complaining he needs to see the ball more. If Morgan was likely to move ahead of Wilson before, this article is not going to endear Wilson to the coaches - classic case of player saying he needs to worry about himself.

One quote "I really don't know how I'm going to get the ball more," Wilson said Wednesday. "That's something that's been a problem around here for quite some time. We don't throw the ball as much as other football teams."

Gee - no kidding Cedrick

That's certainly not going to go over well.

maybe c. wilson was kind of a bad signing and a veteran like a healthy curtis conway or jonnie morton wouldve been better. kind of like when we had terence mathis.

Cedric knew this coming in..he knows we are a running team first....he came in w/ the notion of fighting for the 2nd WR job beside Hines, but he didnt win it, so now you have sleep in the bed u made wilson.

Just stick it out man, we'll need you at somepoint this season!!!

Very good point BRC. Everyone knows Pittsburgh is run dominant. Not like he didn't know this coming in.

Somebody needs to call Cowher and adjust the depth chart. I think Wilson just flat out sucks.
