It's raining, baby.
Qualifying cancelled. Matt starts 4th (last race using last year's points) = good pit stall.....woo-hoo! Cars were spinning out in practice all over and now a green racetrack, this should be fun on Sun.. More new paint...

Poor Tony....getting nudged outta the way in another snoozzer...and for Bristol, that's pretty bad.
Still, l'll take a top 10 anyday....especially with that mess they were running. Congrats Jeff, you're a good guy. Lead lap cars... I'm happy that POS Stewart didn't win. Finished 14th.
![]() Dale, Jr. has more class in the tip of his finger than that egomaniac has in his entire being. I'm happy with Burton winning - he's a class act. I was hoping Dale Jarrett would finish Top 5 in his last race. Thanks for the memories Dale!

kind of a bummer to see dale jarrett hang em up. he won the 1st race i ever watched (93 daytona 500) long before i even knew joe gibbs was involved in this auto raceball stuff.
i guess that leaves jeff gordon as the longest tenured driver since ive been watching. that is CREEPY. (i think b. labontes rookie year was the following year. cant remember if burton was in, and mark martin no longer runs a full schedule.) today is a far cry from the harry gants, dick trickles, and d. marcis' running every week. suprised t. stewart didnt pull the ultimate bitch and whinefest again this week. i think hendrick not winning for 5 weeks straight is proof of the changing of the guard (for this season atleast.). i dont think they went more than 4 weeks w/o a win last season. pretty suprising to see dale jr. as the best finishing HMS car for 4 of 5 weeks. then again he can wheel the hell out of a car. youd never know jimmie johnson ever drove on dirt the way he constantly loses control. congrats to childress on his 1st 1-2-3 finish. hope harvick has fun waxing stewarts back tomorrow. you would think harvick was the 1 to lose a bet. and i totally agree with HTG and jr being classy. i woulda never had him pegged as a spokesman for great PR. he had every right to blast eury (who has probably cost him more than a few races over the years). great job jr. with kurt bush's and penskes record of success at bristol, i'd have to call todays running of the blue duce abysmal.
