This is the second game in a row that Marte has been shelled - very uncharacteristic of him considering how good he was las season. The bullpen was a big weakness coming into the season - if Marte and Capps struggle, we're really in trouble.

Tonights game is vs the Marlins Matt Morris is our starting pitcher vs. Olsen for the Marlins Should be a easy win if we score early Lets hope this doesnt go into extra innings |

I can see it now the headlines "Pirates lose on walk-off homer in ninth"
That game was just crazy, it went all the way to the 9th, when Osoria gave up a leadoff walkoff homer to Jacobs. "It ultimately came down to one at-bat, that of Marlins first baseman Mike Jacobs in the bottom of the ninth, the score tied at 4-4. Jacobs took a sinker that Franquelis Osoria left high and over the plate and punched it just over the right field wall for a walk-off homer." We lost 5-4 to the marlins thats just sad. On the bright side "Ryan Doumit connected for his first homer of the season" .... Go Bucs... |

That was a good game, the ending sucked though. Jose Bautista gave my newphew his batting gloves after warmup, that was pretty sweet.
