Default The Colts or The Ravens

So, of the two back-to-back, history making 6 TD games that we as Steelers got to see against the Colts last and the Baltimore Ravens this evening - which game did you personally find to be more impressive?

Ben was statistically better in the Colts game, no doubt. No sacks, 6 TDs, 500+ yards (for an NFL record 2nd time in his career) and the team as a whole put more points on the board. It was an incredible game and the kind of performance that you usually only see once in a lifetime.

But, tonight, we outscored the Ravens by 20 points in a much more violent game. Ben was sacked three times in a row. He was pretty close to getting his jaw blown off by a Ravens team that had the audacity to laugh (even after committing 3 penalties on just one play), lots of unsportsmanlike conduct in general (more so on the Ravens), an offense that barely had any first downs to speak of in the first quarter, and a really bad special teams blunder which gave the Ravens 7 points at a time when they really needed it, and were not exactly trailing by much. BUT ASIDE FROM BEING A FAR LESS "PRETTY" GAME, IT WAS AGAINST THE RAVENS. Our greatest rival. And a team that decimated us earlier this season. We also have witnessed a Steelers S that is just getting better and better every game, and I think they may have done a better job this game than last.

So, there I think there is just a certain level of satisfaction, from an emotional standpoint, I think, that made the Ravens game arguably just as impressive. Still, in the end, which one do you think OVERALL was the more impressive of the two?

I found tonight's win more impressive because:

1. We had to come back from getting stomped in the first quarter that could have turned into a runaway soul crushing lopsided loss

2. The defense played better

3. It was vs. those fookin piece of ish rat birds

Colts because it came out of nowhere. Even when we got down or lost momentum in this game, I never thought "gee I hope the defense gets a pick 6" I was waiting for the offense to get fired up again.

But, I loved rolling up all those points after all the cheapshot Ravens plays.

That's a tough question and as much as I admired the style of the Colts game, I think throwing six against Baltimore is more satisfying because of Suggs and his thugs.

After all the trash-talk, the cheap shots and the chest-thumping, Ben can just smile and say, "Yeah, but I punked your sorry asses six times!"

The defense made this a much more well rounded performance.

They looked like a complete team tonight, and they overcame some major injuries.

Now, if they could take this show to the road.......

Ravens game because i hate the Ravens.

Seeing the Steelers completely dominate them was extremely satisfying.

last week was more impressive because it was against a better team

otherwise the offense was a little bit worse against a better defense, while the defense was a little bit better against a worse offense, so I'd say they'd played about the same as a whole team effort against a slightly worse team and unsurprisingly won more comfortably, so I can't call it more impressive, I'm not going to award any brownie points because its supposed to be a heated rivalry, the Colts were a better team, and thus it was a bigger win, likely carrying momentum into this game.
