Having said that, there are a number of quality running backs in this draft and we could pick up a player later in the 3rd/4th round. One more thought.....on sirius NFL radio Pat and T-rock were saying that the Raiders were trying to get back into the 2nd for a speedy wide reciever. Possible compensation discussed was Fabian Washington/Bush and next year's 2nd. What if we said we don't want next year's 2nd, just Washington and Bush....solidies our DB need and our RB need all with one pick. Just a thought......
I think that would be a great deal if Bush ends up playing as good as he did in college.

that would be nice to get a rb and a cb... but it also wouldn't hurt to get an extra 2nd next yr... i still think we will re-sign fwp.. since he rly hasn't had that much tear on him except 4 last yr and 2

O-line, D-line are the priority with a backup RB being around later. Matt Forte or Tashard Choice could be this years Michael Turner or Ahmad Bradshaw.
I don't think we would take a RB before the 3rd round, and in that area Choice would be very interesting to me.

Another kid you might watch for ever later is Jalen Parmele. I would think a kid like him would be very attractive to the Steelers.

Parmele really intrugues me and I said a month ago or so that he would be a nice pick in the middle rounds come sunday.

I have also read that he thinks he has something to prove. He dosn't think he has been getting the attention that he deserves.

unless you got multiple 1st round picks, you should NEVER draft a RB in the first round. its not worth it! that is the easiest position to find sleepers and hardly any RB's any more last long. i think the steelers know this too and will not draft a RB in the 1st round unless we have zero talent in the position, and i never see that happening.

i certainly hope the steelers stay away from RBs for the entire draft. it isn't a need at the moment.
