I like the idea of Madden IQ...too bad they're not offering it for PC...it's the only way I'd purchase the game...as I don't have a PS2, PS3 or Xbox (in any form.)

The CPU management AI is still as wacky as ever...the Steelers will sign Drew Brees and Steven Jackson while still having Big Ben and Willie P/Mendenhall, the Bengals will draft QB, WR, K in the first 3 rounds...James Harrison will make the pro bowl, be a 93 overall and when his contract expires no team will sign him...etc.

Don't believe me? Simulate a couple of seasons and see what happens. Or just check out this thread: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...ll-broken.html

Really? I would think the Bengals would have jumped at the chance.

honestly i rly don't think the there stats rly matter when i play except maybe 4 the speed and the qb strenght anbd acc.. it's just how u play and if a player shall go from a 93 to a 97 rly whats the big diff.. he still would move as he did when i used him..

I thought player progression had more to do with the coaching staff you have (i.e. if your OC is especially strong with HB/TE, they'll progress more than the other players.)

In Head Coach this is true, but as far as Madden goes, the progression is pretty much random.

Wow...for my 06 version, the coaches I sign make the difference, did they drop that when they went to the HC series?

I may have to pick him up when I start my franchise.

I'm loving the game so far, here are some highlights from a couple of exhibition games against the Browns and Patriots.

Rookie Limas Sweed with a touchdown reception against the Browns:

Roethlisberger chased out of the pocket finds Hines Ward at the 1 yard line for a 33 yard gain:

Randy Moss catches up to Bryant McFadden after he intercepted Tom Brady:
