LB James Laurinaitis Ohio State

This guy is a Monster for the Buckeyes!!!

Unless we are awful next year (we won't be) or we trade way up (we won't), he'll be long gone. Barring injury, I expect him to be a top 5 pick.

indeed he would look amazing in the black and gold

but it would probably take a brides dress and a picture of him and Mikey T on the cover of sports illustrated to get it done. And I don't want to see that at all.

Next year's o-line class might not see 100+ prospects go in the first round like this year ... duane brown ... sheesh ... BUT, that is probably b/c 100+ went in THIS year's draft.

Next year the draft should be equally stout with O-line and D-line prospects ...

Start looking at guys like Tyson Jackson and Any of the OT's from Oregon, OSU, Miss., the guard from OU, i know im forgetting a couple, but next year's O-line class should be very strong as well.

This year we didn't have a good D-line or O-line prospect fall into our laps (SCREW BALMER) ... so we opted to take two of the best skill position players ... next year we shouldn't have a problem unless EVERYONE decides o-line is the big problem again.

Make yourself a list of you top O-line and D-line and keep an eye on them. I know anything can happen in a year, and I am about to make a stupid statment, but here gos.

The only way our 1st pick next year is not a OL or DL is if one of the top 2 CBs fall into our laps.

By the way Elvis, I would love Laurinaistis too, I think he is better than Hawk, but it aint going to happen.

Did anyone else watch the Illinois-Ohio State rematch on the big-ten channel yesterday? I t-voed it and watched it and Mendenhall just didnt do that much against that pretty darn good Ohio State defense. I agree in the sense that we wont be drafting that high, but man what a player that guy is...

Luarenitas is a monster on the field and will be the first LB taken in the draft next year.

Who knows, with our pourous offensive line, our aging defensive line, our unproven draft picks, our big mouth safties, our sucky special teams and the toughest schedule (did I miss anything?) we just might find ourselves finishing at 4and 12 and have a shot at him.

If you are wondering if I am a true, die hard, Steeler's fan, no doubt about it!

James could very well be the number 1 pick over all in my opinion if he continues his great play. But, I really dont think that the steelers will be picking high enough to get him. The only way to get him is if something crazy happy in '08..
