Quarterbacks (3): Ben Roethlisberger, Charlie Batch, Dennis Dixon
Running Backs (5): Willie Parker, Rashard Mendenhall, Gary Russel, Mewelde Moore, Carey Davis Wide Receivers (5): Himes Ward, Santonio Holmes, Limas Sweed, Nate Washington, Dallas Baker Tight Ends (3): Heath Miller, Matt Spaeth, Jonathan Dekker Offensive Line (9): Marvel Smith, Chris Kemoeatu, Justin Hartwig, Kendall Simmons, Max Starks, Willie Colon, Darnell Stapleton, Tony Hills, Sean Mahan Defensive Line (7): Casey Hampton, Aaron Smith, Brett Keisel, Chris Hoke, Kyle Clement, Ryan McBeam, Travis Kirschke Linebackers (9): James Farrior, James Harrison, Lamar Woodley, Larry Foote, Lawrence Timmons, Keyaron Fox, Mike Humpal, Bruce Davis, Arnold Harrison Cornerbacks (5): Ike Taylor, Deshea Townsend, Bryan McFadden, William Gay, Anthony Madison Strong Safety (2): Troy Polamalu, Ryan Mundy Free Safety (2): Ryan Clark, Anthony Smith Specialists (3): Greg Warren, Daniel Sepulveda, Jeff Reid I believe Kyle Clement (undrafted free agent) will beat out either Eason of Kirschke for a roster spot, also look for McBeam to end up on the PUP list depending on how he recovers from his foot injury. I’ll be honest, I don’t really know much about the Clement kid but his workout numbers were good and from what I read online he is quite the run stuffer. (Kyle Clement, DL 6’4, 316 pounds, Arm-32.2"Hand-10.0" 40 time-5.01, Vertical-29.5" Short Shuttle: 4.54, 3-Cone-7.54, Broad Jump-8'10.5" Bench-37 reps). Also look for Dallas Baker to beat out Willie Reid for the last receiver spot. Baker worked hard in the off-season and apparently has fallen in favor with Roethlisberger. Tell me what ya’ll think… |

First of all, Welcome to SteelersfeverI like your list pretty well, and I think that Dallas Baker will also make this team this season, Willie Reid must WOW the steelers in the offseason workouts and training camps to make this team this season i believe. Its also a bold prediction that Ryan Mundy(R) will beat out vet Carter at SS backup spot as well, I dont much see that happening, but it could. Again, welcome and have fun and post often |

Welcome TSFL. Like the effort in the post. I think you are pretty close to the money with most positions.
Legursky and Stapleton will be an interesting battle at backup centre. Carter definitely is replaceable at SS and Mundy may be the man. I would like to see Willie Reid actually warrant his third round pick but he is looking more and more like a bust. If a 6th or 7th round pick could be obtained in a trade for 2009 then I would jump at it. Clement would be a real bolter if he makes it.
