Default Does anyone here follow Pro Cycling?

It's kind of strange, but my two loves are football and cycling. I was wondering if anyone here followed Pro cycling as well. If so I'm going to go out and say that Floyd Landis did not cheat and that this year I hope the yellow jersey in Le Tour de France goes to George Hincapie of team High Road.

I follow cycling also. Don't know about Landis cheating, part of me says he did, another part says he didn't. Now, I wish Hincapie would win the Tour, but Contador and team Astana are just too strong. I want Leipheimer to take the yellow, but with him and Contador on the same team, probably won't see it.

What is the word on Landis? That story kind of dropped from the headlines and never really heard a final outcome.

He was found guilty and cannot race in the tour for a specified period of time. But no team is going to take a risk and sign him, so he is pretty much dead when it comes to the cycling world. Just found out yesterday that Contador is skipping the Tour de France this year, so Levi might have a shot if France lets Team Astana race.

Beware of Cadel Evans from down under. Cycling is a sport with a big following here.

IMO If Landis is outed from the tour when the news emerges the whole race changes and Cadel Evans rides away as the winner. He was robbed a few seconds by Landis remaining in the race and it proved the difference come the last time trial.

Hopefully this year the first ever aussie will be wearing the yellow jersey across the finish line in paris.

Look for Robbie McEwen to push hard for the green jersey and Stewart O Grady popping up for a stage win.

They need to take blood samples before, during and after the race to stamp out the drug cheats for ever. This iconic event is in danger of losing all credibility if something doesnt change.

So Cycling fans, what do you think of the comeback of Lance! I don't like it, and I especially don't like his decision to go with Astana. I know, Bruneel is there and they are a great fit, but I wish he would have stayed with an American team. I would like to see him on Highroad, not Garmin because I am interested to see what CVV will do this year with a better team and more confidence.

I've had the pleasure of watching Le Tour twice now, and it is a fantastic event.........It is quite simply a world unto it's own. From the caravan that precedes the race, to the fans themselves, and just the speed of the race....everything's just that slightly different, but very European!

As much as I love Lance, I just hope he isn't trying one too many. All his achievements are going to be forgotten if he doesn't win this year - they'll just focus on his one failure (although personally I think he's capable of doing it again ....assuming no one nicks his Time Trial Bike!)

And it'll really piss the French off for Lance to get one more! And that's always worth it!

GO LANCE!!!!!!!

PS - I always thought Tyler would'ave won it by now, but that's a sore point! *Holds up his Tyler is Innocent* placard - Any man, who'll grind his teeth down in pain due to cycling with a broken collarbone, whilst winning a race isn't taking the correct drugs (at least not one's that are beneficial anyway!!)
