Women's fastpitch softball...
Holy crap. I was watching the College World Series today, and I am in love with this game. THIS is the one women's sport that I would follow professionally.
Ashley Brignac... wow. What an athlete. Let me ask, is it like this for women watching men's sports? Not that I'm being weird or anything, but man, this girl is so athletically sexy. It was great to see her on the mound, taking it right to the #1 team in the country. The girl (she's 19) throws a 70mph heater from 43 feet... wow. And the ball RISES... or if it's a curve, rises, then dips. I could watch this day after day. |

My former sister-in-law was an amazing pitcher coming out of HS. I stood in the pen with her one day (near the catcher). She threw a heater and it scared the crap out of me. Unfortunately her arm didn't hold up so I think she's playing 1st now. My ex and her twin were also great players.
