You'd think his wife would be nagging him about it by now!

If you need proof positive that his hair doesn't matter, I watched the game with my 85 year old grandfather who is a lifelong Browns fan and A) Hates all Steelers players, B) Hates all "Longhaired freaks". After the game, he said " That Samoan payer with the long hair can sure play football"

This is a guy who was alive when the NFL started...he saw ALL the great players, all the tough guys, and he complimented not only a player that he didn't approve of, but from the Steelers as well!

Yeah, gramps is pretty cool...he also can take the "long view" and realizes that every team has it's day. Hell, he was a young man with a new family back when the Browns and Indians were the dominant teams in their respective sports.

It's always cool to get the perspective of someone who's been around for a long, long time...

It's the hair that tells him where the ball is going to be.
Hair: "Psst, hey Troy. Dilfer is running towards the sideline, pummel him so he turns into a little puddle of whimpering flesh!"
Troy: " Pummel Dilfer, Pummel Dilfer!"
Hair: " Good Troy, Gooooood...."

My wife thinks the hair is tacky. But she is from Detroit and grew up checking to see if the Loins lost on Thanksgiving Day. The hair is now a part of his identiy. "Troy if you cut it, just trim it up so that it is shorter."

Long hair on men is great looking. I hope he lets it grow and grow and grow.

As far as I know, his hair is a cultural thing. The only time he cut it was when it was required in college (or maybe high school).
