Because you cant get tickets anymore, can someone tell me the likelyhood of getting scalped tickets at the stadium on game day? I dont want to go through the ticket agents online because there prices are ridicuous.

From what I understand it is actually pretty easy. I am thinking about buying them on gameday as well, this season... so, I too am interested in how possible it actually is.

I've had both good luck and been burned by waiting until the last minute. If the game is bad whether or a night game I'd take my chances on waiting as there will be tickets available last minute and probably closer to face value. If the game is a Sunday day game early in the season I might buy now as they will start going up once preseason starts as people start to buy them. The Steelers also have a brutal home schedule with alot of high profile games which will command a premium price. If the Steelers start fast with a winning record, watch what happens to the Dallas game pricing. It will take off. Take the Browns game at Heinz last year. I could have bought a pair of tickets early in the season for under $300 on stubhub. Just days before the game you couldn't touch a pair for under $500 and there were very few available. Both teams started strong and both Browns and Steelers fans wanted in with limited supply the prices went crazy. I ended up watching that one at home. Pricing at the stadium lots for the game will mirror the pricing on the websites. It depends which game it is. It's all supply and demand.
