Mears, Hendrick to part ways after season
LOUDON, N.H. (AP) - Casey Mears will be looking for a new ride in 2009.
Hendrick Motorsports said Friday that Mears, who has been with the team since 2007 and moved to the No. 5 Chevrolet to replace Kyle Busch, will be released at the end of this season. http://msn.foxsports.com/nascar/stor...s-after-season who didnt know this was going to happen.

mark martin will be taking over his ride in his 4th post retirement season.
i still dont know why hendrick got rid of busch in favor of mears.

bc they can give mears all the leftovers when jr arrived. if kyle busch had stayed then they wouldnt have been able to do that. and i just dont see kyle and jr being on the same team. (even though kyle is showing him up this season
 ). this way if they bring in a rookie driver from jr motorsports to split time with mark martin then it may not look so bad. btw, casey mears is going to be a first time dad too
