If you all haven't noticed... (and you probably didn't! )

I haven't really posted much the last few days.

One of my really good friends... who happens to also be my associate pastor...

His dad passed away Sunday.

I got a call last Thursday night (10 pm) that it seemed to be imminent. I hopped in the car and drove the 40 minutes to town... just to see his father actually turn a corner and start getting better.

then Sunday, he started getting worse again. He finally passed early Sunday evening.

He had cancer, so this was not unexpected, though he seemed to be doing pretty good so the timing was a bit of a shock.

Anyways...

Just wanted to pop on by and say hi and see that the world is still normal out there.

I'll tell you all though... I sure will miss the guy.

Welcome back Preacher. I'm sorry to hear of your loss.

As you and I both know, peace and comfort come through placing our trust in the Lord. I'll keep he and his family in prayer.
