Did my first draft last night, came out feeling pretty good. I'm a little concerned about my receivers, especially wtih Boldin's situaiton. I had the 7th pick and took Addai as my number 1 guy. BTW, it's a 12 team league.
QB - Jay Cutler (8th pick) QB - Bret Favre (13th pick) RB - Joseph Addai (1st pick) RB - Larry Johnson (2nd pick) RB - Thomas Jones (6th pick) RB - Willie Parker (7th pick) WR - Reggie Wayne (3rd pick) WR - Anquain Boldin (5th pick) WR - Donte Stallworth (9th pick) WR - Reggie Brown (11th pick) TE - Antonio Gates (4th pick) K - Ryan Longwell (14th pick) DST - Eagles (10th pick) DST - Ravens (12th pick) How you think I did? I'd say you are pretty solid, IMO. Stallworth will be a good 2nd receiver in that Cleveland offense. And I think the Ravens D will be one of the top 5 this year. Great gamble on Favre at 13th btw.

pretty good runingbacks.
parker, we all know he's great is great. johnson may be a gamble. jones should improve with faneca no worries on receiver, stallworth will be pretty much like at NE last year great defenses and a good QB who will contnue to improve. and favre at 13th seems like a great pick, hopefully he comes back, if he does you team should be even better. I might try to do the same |

The only problem I see is drafting before preseason even starts. One or (if you're really unlucky) two injuries and your whole season can be sunk.

If Cutler comes back strong, then you are solid there, I just wish this whole Favre thing would just end imediately!!!
Stallworth is just so injury proned, I dont think he will make it all season, but I love Wayne and Bouldin. Gates is also very solid, but I dont really think the way you do about the Ravens I guess. Good Luck

Thanks for the replies guys & gals! I agree about drafting too early, but the draft is my favorite part and I could no longer wait. That's why I did another draft last night, lol. Results below. Keep in mind, I'm in 3 leagues (with $money$) where we will be drafting later in August, so that's the ones I'm more concerned about. Last nights draft I got 12th pick out of 12 teams. I made some crazy picks, but these are just practice drafts before the real ones start up. Thanks again..
QB - Peyton Manning (1st round) QB - JaMarcus Russel (14th round) RB - Clinton Portis (2nd round) RB - Maurice Jones -Drew (3rd round) RB - Lendale White (6th round) RB - Edgerrin James (8th round) RB - Just Fargas (13th round) WR - Plaxico Burress (4th round) WR - Anquan Boldin (5th round) WR - Javon Walker (7th round) WR - Sidney Rice (11th round) TE - Owen Daniels (10th round) K - Kris Brown (12 round, ran out of time and was "auto-picked") DST - Eagles (9th round) I sure have some head cases in the receiving deparment. p.s.

Raiders WR Javon Walker reported to training camp without any noticeable facial wounds, according to reports, which would seem to suggest the police report that stated he had suffered a broken orbital bone and a fractured jaw when he was beaten and robbed in Las Vegas last month was off base. Injuries as serious as those would still be lingering and probably would have kept him off the practice field. Yet, as head coach Lane Kiffin has vowed all along, Walker is reportedly prepared to participate in camp
