One more reason Steve Pederson(or Peterson, Pitt fans will have to back me on the correct spelling of the Pitt AD's last name) made a mistake in even giving him the extension in the first place. Wanny has not proven himself in any games except for the WVU game. If the stache loses to one more pathetic team and Pitt does not have a winning record, he will be looking in the classified's for a new job come end of the year.

He does not use his players to their optimum ability. His teams make far too many mistakes as sure sign of a poorly coached team He should resign right now.

Spare us the pain and foolish anticipation that he may turn this around. Bring in a proven name coach & quit messing around .

if there is anything that we can pull out of this i guess, bowling green is the MAC favorite and a team they said could possibly win 10-11 games. still this stings, Pitt and Hawaii both lost at the same time, not a good day for me. i guess its good Notre Dame didnt play or else id be in a stand-off with the cops on top of my roof

Lots of great press in the off season, and a good recruiting class, but same ole coaching staff.

Brutal. Charlie is proving how much better he can coach when he videotapes opponents. At least after the crying Irish fire Weis he has a career in film. Call it Fighting Irish Bloopers. God knows there is plenty of legal videotape to choose from.

What is it about Wanstead? Puzzling. The Pathers enduring another disaster season...sick.

1 loss does not write this team off. The Big East Scedule looms as well, so they can still be a force, if not THE force in the Big East.

1 game. the L sucks, but 1 game.
