While reading these notes, instead of picturing the action in my head, I see one of those "wish you were here" postcards :-(

Impressed with the d-line in both reports I've read so far and the LBs. Realizing this is camp and scrimmages... what does the play of the defense say about our OL?

No, I think it's more a matter of looking weak at times because he doesn't have a clue as to what he's doing just yet. Hitting the sled is pretty simple stuff, the coach points him in the right direction and he can run and unload. But put him on the field and you can almost see the LeBeau defensive playbook scrolling through his head like the schematics to a nuclear reactor on microfish. If he doesn't know what direction to run whn he's out there, it's tough to hit that point with any kind of authority.

I think he's gonna be pretty useless this year, other than special teams, and maybe as a pass rusher, though, I didn't se any kind of spectacular pass rushing moves out of him. I don't think we'll know about him until next year.

Yeah, he's been a real nice surprise. I really wasn't expecting anything out of him. He's not as fast and powerful as Washington, but he manages to get open, and he catches the damn ball you throw it his way.

Thanks for both reports. Do you have to pay to go to see these practices?

I believe the practices are free, but you get ripped off by paying full-season prices for preseason games.
