John Edwards Admits Affair/Denies Paternity

John Edwards repeatedly lied during his Presidential campaign about an extramarital affair with a novice filmmaker, the former Senator admitted to ABC News today.

In an interview for broadcast tonight on Nightline, Edwards told ABC News correspondent Bob Woodruff he did have an affair with 44-year old Rielle Hunter, but said that he did not love her.
Edwards also denied he was the father of Hunter's baby girl, Frances Quinn, although the one-time Democratic Presidential candidate said he has not taken a paternity test.

OK then - if you did not love her that makes it soooo much better and you obviously are not the father of the baby based upon the paternity test you did not take

There is a special place in hell for someone who cheats on a spouse with terminal cancer while claiming what a devoted family man he is.

Can you imagine if the Dems would have nominated this creep?

WOW! I am totally shocked. I always believed Edwards to be the consummate devoted family man, especially in light of his wife's recent battle against cancer. Have to admit - he fooled me good.

I guess we can cross his name of the list of Demo VP candidates.

I have to agree with Preacher on the way I've allways felt about Edwards, even being from NC myself. The affair doesn't suprise me all that much, as terrible and heartless as it is... But were I am fooled is how he seems to be such a complete idiot Is he trying to justify this somehow? Geez.... what a scum bag...
