Positive thoughts/prayers for Tyler
Please keep this young man in your thoughts and prayers.
Tyler DiRenzo, Running Back for my Shamokin Area Indians football team is having a recurrance of a serious condition which sidelined him for part of last season. I cannot remember the exact medical terminology, but the affliction causes his muscels to deteriorate. This raises his enzyme levels and could lead to kidney failure. He spent time in hospital last football season, after running for well over 200 yards against our rival Mt. Carmel Area capping an outstanding start to his Sophomore season. He is going to get checked by a specialist to see if he can be cleared to play soon. Please keep his health and his dreams of playing ball in your thoughts and prayers. He is promising as both a outstanding young man and as an outstanding athlete.
