Anyone Tailgating for the Houston Game Sept 7

I just joined. But my dad and I are HUGE steeler fans from the Northern VA area.

We haven't been to the new stadium yet and we have tickets to the Texans game. I am currently looking at hotels trying to decide which one to book.

We've been to games with three rivers was up. We have tickets to the Jacksonville game in Florida (can't wait for that).

My question is, we love to tailgate but we don't want to spend a huge amount on hotels, so I am looking at hotels about 4+ miles out from the stadium. On game day we will have to drive to the stadium (which we wanted to walk, but can't justify paying $200 + night to be closer) is there anyone tailgating we can tag along with or are there any good locations or bars we can join in the pregaming?

It's been awhile since we made a game in PA. We went to training camp two years ago.

I just booked a hotel that is about 4 miles from the Stadium.

I'll be at the game tailgating.

Not sure where yet I'm from Indiana. If you call the double tree downtown and ask for the black and gold brigade group rate, the room is 139.00. The number is 800-222 -tree. you can get more info on blackandgoldbrigade.com. They say the rate ends Aug. 8 or until they sell out.

Thats a great deal to be so close to the stadium. I booked a hotel last night before you posted this at the Quality Inn University Center which is about 4 miles away from the stadium. It was $100 a night which is awesome being so close. The reviews were good for the hotel as well.

I'll be more then happy to join up for some tailgating if you or anyone else is interested. Can't wait for the game.

Yeah that is a great price, I wish I would had found it a day earlier. I already booked at another hotel.

Just changed my reservations to the Double Tree Hotel. Can't beat the price and that close to the stadium.
