Great signing by Ferry. Not a huge pricetag (just over 4M a year) for a pretty darn good player.

I'm thinking Mo, West, Z, Wallace and King James as our starters,

That brings Gibson, Verajao, Wally, Sasha and rookie JJ Hickson off the bench.

If we need additional defense, we can also continue to use Snow. Not sure what the rest of my team's players roles are likely to be (besides minimal).

This helps shore up the here and now for the Cavs...as well as prep us for that big FA hoopla in 2010. (Who knows, maybe then we'll be able to get Redd to come over, now that he's won a gold with LBJ)

Yeah, solid backup that still flashes some greatness that he never lived up to. Never did anything for my Celtics.

Solid player, not a great player. That's the problem with trying to assess people. Not living up to expectations doesn't necessarily make someone a bum...just means he was overhyped to begin with. (You see this in pretty much all sports.)

I think (on my team) both guys are solid contributors who bring something different to the table. They're definitely role players, and fortunately for the Cavs, Delonte understands and relishes in his role.

King James ain't going anywhere. In this day and age, "big market" vs "little market" doesn't hold as much value as it did 20 years ago. James gets his endorsement deals no matter where he lives. He gets the money regardless...plus he gets the extra cash that the Cavs are going to pay.

Why was he roaming the Cowboys sideline when Cleveland played Dallas, giving love to TO, Pacman and other thugs?

He dissed Cleveland with the Yanks cap, and apparently didn't learn his lesson and just doesn't care...

I want him to stay, but I'm too pragmatic to see that happening. He's gone after his next year...
