Default Poor Game Plan

Onside kick? This ain't the Super Bowl and those aren't the Cowboys. I admire the guts, but the D was doing pretty good until then. Give 'em a chance. This game is over.

We had the momentum near the end of the half... Even after the field goal, I thought we were well in it, but after the failed onside kick (which was certainly not conservative) and touchdown any gameplan we had was thrown out.

Wonder what we would be saying if the onside kick worked?

I understand that if they make the play it would have ben great. But why even try? They were only down 9. Hold them on D and cut the lead. They were playing good after the first drive. Ah hell. They better beat the damn Bungles next week or it could be over.

The Steelers needed a spark at that point - the playcalling beforehand is what dug them into a deep hole - they never looked like scoring another 10 points.

The O-line is not good enough to bully other teams to allow the RBs to run wild.

Hate to say it - but the Patriots and the Steelers are both mediocre this year - I could name a few teams in just the AFC that I think are better.

Cheers

The Patriots didn't bother with swagger to start this NFL season; they went straight to defiant. Either you're one of them or you're about to get crushed.

They may have beaten the Steelers, but Pittsburgh is better than the Patriots this year.

Maybe you are right - the way I see it - the Pats have an awful D and the Steelers have an awful O - both are horrible to watch and incredibly frustrating.

How exactly is the kick supposed to work when your worthless kicker, who already missed a chip-shot INDOORS, can't even kick the damn ball 10 freaking yards?!

yeah we are better then the pats right now but there is some teams that i wouldn't want to play that's the chargers, yeah we beat them but that was early in the season they are now rolling and they'd probably beat us, the cheifs probably could, the jags be a good game, ummmmmm....... we are far from the "powerhouse" we were last season and it's all cause the front office decided they were satisfied with what we had which is a mistake......... we gonna need to step it up big time the rest of the season if we want any chance to make the playoffs and make noise in the playoffs
