unless the offense shows up the defense may have to win this game

I expect a low scoring match....16-6

mendenhall gets his 1st nfl touchdown

Lessee, the Steelers with blitz pickup issues against a very good defense. The Felons with a rookie QB against a very good defense. Logic says this will be a 6-3 game so in the bizarre world that is the NFL, it'll probably be like 35-30.

Yes and no.

Yes, they won both games in 2006. However, we won the first one HANDIDLY, and the second game we barely lost... with our second string against their first.

So the record doesn't say as much too me.

I think the Steelers rebound and hold their helmets high in this one. We're going to be slowed down a bit by FWP's absence, but the O unit and line had to have been embarrassed by their meltdown last Sunday, and not only are they going to be playing for the W, but for their own pride as well.

comparing to last week, where we lost by 9.
the way i measure it:
-9
home field adv. +3

raven D/steelers O +3 (not quite as good as eagle D but loss of parker will hurt )

ravens O/steelers D +7 (no where near eagles O but didnt have westy alot of the game and loss of a couple defensive starters for steelers hurts)

we win by 4. 17-13. will be ugly but we win.

Their offence hasn't impressed me much, they get close 3 times but settle for 3 FGs.
Our o-line is not as bad as they showed Sunday, but they still scare me a little. I think we get in the endzone at least once and get close enough for 3 more FGs

Steelers 16
Ravens 9

I'm sorry....is the Eagles D rated #1? Oops! Didn't think so!

A re-energized Ravens D, a good game plan drawn up by Rex Ryan to sack Ben at least 6 times and no running game will mean at least two picks. Maybe CMac or Reed takes one to the house.

Still a tight game. Ravens-17, Steelers-13

is that the same D we averaged about 30 a game against last year.
