A bit of good news
Just listening to ESPN 1250 radio station Stan and Guys show. The good news from the South Side today is ....Brett Keisel practiced today, the bad news is 51 other guys didn't practice due to injury.

I think I heard somewhere that Tomlin was injured also, is this true?
Having Keisel back/close to back is a good thing, we some D-line depth. Although, the fill ins have been doing a great job.

From what I understand it was a very "light" practice more players sat out than were on practice field.

The Steelers earned their rest.
They've been in two slugfests against AFC competition, fought hard in both of them, and won. 4-1 and on top of the AFC North with nearly half our starting lineup out. You can't be anymore satified with that. No Steelers this week, but it's gonna be fun seeing the "AFC North Champion" Browns on MNF. Here's to watching them embarrass themselves.

The bye week couldn't have come at a better time. Our beat-up players get a week to heal, and we play the Bengals right after it.
Sure the Bengals have given everyone a fight so far, but I doubt they can give the physical beating the Ravens or Jags can give. |
