As many times as he went flying into Brandon Jacobs....I knew he'd be hurting in the morning.

Clark played a hell of a game . . . for a FS he layed some wood on Jacobs, and took some hits himself. Just for the hit on Steve Smith and the goal-line stop of Jacobs he earned his paycheck.

There was a report that it was a seperated shoulder, and he figures to play next Monday.

He is one tough dude.

i wonder if switching polamalu to FS and smith to SS for one game is feasible. i really don't want to see smith at FS.

Clark has been nothing but exceptionally solid and a reliable last line of defense for this team. This guy is an inspiration to all and a leader by example. Get well we need you man!

I've wondered about Smith at SS as well. I don't think I'd want to see him over Troy at SS.

I would imagine, in Lebeaus system, there is more responsibility from the SS position. The main responsibility for FS is to not let anyone behind you, and that is all Smith needs to remember. That reason alone, IMO, is why he doesn't play.
